Meet the Makers is all about bringing our amazing producers and suppliers to meet with our beloved customers! One Saturday each month, we’ll invite a selection of our lovely makers to come in and showcase their products, do a FREE tasting and chat about all things delicious.

Meet the Makers is also an opportunity for all our wonderful customers to sample a featured selection of additional Pork Ewe Deli products; including cheese, salami, oils and other unique gourmet items.

We’re mixing up each month, so you’ll have an excuse to keep coming back!

Scarborough Wine Co.

Today, Scarborough Wine Co. stands tall as one of the most recognized Hunter Valley wineries and a must visit cellar door experience.

A family business we are lucky to have Sally Scarborough in store with her family’s wines.

Sally Scarborough, Ian and Merraleas’ daughter, is responsible for all aspects of sales – from the Cellar door to the top end restaurants and retailers of Australia and has spent the last decade at the coalface.

Labeled the Chardonnay Queen, no-one could be in a better position to extol the virtues of the variety as it’s Sally’s quest to find Australia’s best.  Originally from a hospitality background, Sally gained an insight into the wine industry while working in the Napa Valley, California. She moved back to Melbourne in 2000 to oversee the Victorian sales for Scarborough. In 2003, Sally returned to Sydney to coordinate the National Sales for Scarborough Wine Company.

When Sally is not researching the best Chardonnay she’s a mad keen baker and can be found experimenting with various cakes.

Hallstrom Co

Originally created out of a hobby and interest in the science in creating chemical free Black Garlic. The first Fermenter they ever built was from a retro kerosene powered Hallstrom fridge, hence where the name originated from.

Now days though things are little more serious, this proudly local Newcastle business is making a name for it’s self in the Australian market.

Come and meet owner and founder Joshua, he will explain the process of producing Black garlic and you can taste it for yourself.


Goose on the Loose

Come and meet Adrian, founder of Goose on the Loose.

His business was born out of a passion for smallgoods, fuelled by a dismay of mass-produced supermarket ‘substitutes’.

This drive and passion for providing customers with some of the best produce available has seen his business grow dramatically in just a few short years.

Adrian and his delicious small goods will be in store, so you can taste and talk about his love for salami.
