DIY Cheat's Cassoulet Recipe Pack
Cassoulet is a rich, slow-cooked casserole containing pork, sausage, duck and white beans. It is named after its traditional cooking vessel, the cassole, a deep, round, earthenware pot with slanting sides.
The traditional homeland of cassoulet is the region of Languedoc in southern France, especially the towns of Toulouse, Carcassonne, and Castelnaudary, which is said to be where the dish originated.
Traditional Cassoulet requires advance preparation and planning and is made over a number of days. This cheats version can be prepared in a day and is deceptively easy to make while still delivering a delicious and indulgent dinner
